Kim Kardashian’s Next Ambition: Ruling a Country?
Nothing can stop Kimberly Kardashian from pursuing a good challenge. She decides she wants to start a business? We get Skims, complete with some remarkably successful ad campaigns. She sets her sights on Hollywood? She becomes Ryan Murphy’s muse and is promised her own show. She wants to practice law? Well, she’s still working on that one, so let’s give the billionaire some grace. But, in typical Kardashian fashion, all the achievements in the world aren’t enough for Kim. Now, apparently, she wants to rule a country.
In the season 5 finale of “The Kardashians” on Hulu, Kim sat down for a confessional to reflect on her year. “This year has been so good,” she began. “I’m entering my actress era. I had no clue this was going to happen. I’ve taken some time off just to really focus on being the best mom I could be.” Then, she shifted gears to her growing list of aspirations, which now includes “fully ruling a country” after finishing a season of Netflix’s “The Crown.” She laughed and played it off as a joke, but you can’t help but wonder if there’s a part of her seriously considering it. Apart from lacking the divine blood of the Royals, what could stand in the way of the manifestation powers of a Kardashian?
Kim concluded that she’s “learned so much” and is looking forward to the future. Will that future include sitting on a throne? Are the Kardashians planning to take over a small country? Only time—or perhaps season 6 of “The Kardashians”—will tell.
