My journey in fashion began at a young age, inspired by the vibrant styles in Lagos. My involvement deepened when I participated in GTB Fashion Week in 2017 and was selected as the face of GTB fashion week in 2017, which allowed me to connect with industry professionals and transform my passion into a career.
What inspired you to pursue a degree in business management?
I was driven by my desire to understand the business aspects of various industries. I wanted to equip myself with the skills needed to effectively manage and promote brands, especially in the fashion and beauty sectors.
Can you share the most valuable lesson you learned from your MBA?
The most valuable lesson I learned is the importance of strategic thinking and sustainability in business. It taught me how to balance profit with purpose, especially in health safety and environmental contexts.

Winning Miss Earth Nigeria significantly enhanced my visibility and credibility in my passion for environmental advocacy. It also provided me with a platform to advocate for environmental issues and empower others, which is a cause close to my heart.

Competing in Miss Earth was a thrilling experience that exposed me to diverse cultures and perspectives. It taught me resilience, humility, and the importance of using one’s voice to create change, and making it to the Top 10 was so memorable.

My favourite memory is walking the runway with fellow models, feeling the electrifying energy of the audience, and seeing the collective creativity of designers come to life. It was a powerful affirmation of our shared passion.
How do you balance motherhood with your career?
I prioritize scheduling and setting boundaries. My family is essential to my life, and I make sure to carve out quality time with my daughter, Adele, while ensuring that my professional responsibilities are met.

My family is my support system. They inspire me to pursue my passions and remind me of the importance of staying grounded and true to my values, especially in a challenging industry like brand and image consultancy.

I define my personal style as elegant and versatile, often blending traditional Nigerian attire with contemporary fashion. I love experimenting with colours and textures that reflect my heritage.

I’m excited about the resurgence of sustainable fashion. More designers are becoming eco-conscious, which aligns closely with my advocacy for environmental awareness.

I stay inspired by surrounding myself with creative thinkers, attending fashion events, and constantly exploring new art forms and cultures. Reading fashion magazines and studying fashion history also fuels my inspiration.

My go-to outfit is a well-fitted ankara dress paired with statement heels. This look allows me to honor my roots while showcasing my personal style.

As an image consultant, I work with clients to help them enhance their personal and professional images. This includes styling advice, public speaking training, and branding strategies to ensure they present themselves authentically.

What’s your favorite book that has influenced you?
I am an Author myself. I have written 2 books on environmental conservation and protection but my favorite book is “The 48 Laws of Power” by Robert Greene who happens to be my mentor and we follow each other on Instagram and i have also interviewed him. The book offers timeless principles of effective leadership and personal development that I apply in my career and personal life.
How do you unwind after a busy day?
I unwind by spending quality time with my family, watching movies, or reading. Engaging in hobbies such as cooking our favorite jollof rice and fried plantain helps me relax and recharge.

I love romantic genres, Sci-Fi and action movies. They often tell beautiful stories about relationships and personal growth, which resonate with me emotionally & the Sci-Fi movies reminds me of staying futuristic innovative in my style and the action movies reminds me to stay grounded in a complex world filled with uncertainty.

My biggest fashion icon is Michelle Obama. Her style exudes elegance and empowerment, and she effortlessly promotes designers from diverse backgrounds.

I see a bright future for fashion in Nigeria, with a growing emphasis on sustainability and the fusion of traditional craftsmanship with modern design. The global appetite for African fashion is gaining momentum.
What advice would you give to aspiring models?
I would advise aspiring models to stay authentic, work hard, and be resilient. The industry can be tough, but believing in oneself and maintaining a positive attitude can open many doors.

A common misconception is that beauty queens lack substance. In reality, we often work hard behind the scenes on important causes, using our platforms to drive meaningful change in society.
