This vision was beautifully realized during the Global Sisterhood Give Back Tour in Africa. During this impactful tour, Dr. Shellie and her team provided vital support to orphans in Kenya. She also taught at Arumas College, an entrepreneurial school she founded, where the Global Sisterhood supplied clean water, classroom resources, and curriculum guidance—drawing on Dr. Shellie’s expertise as a tenured education professor. Additionally, they empowered high school girls in South Africa, equipping them with the tools and confidence to become the next generation of leaders in their communities.
Beyond Africa, Dr. Shellie has been telling the stories of incredible women through over a thousand interviews in media. She is now seeking funding for a dynamic docuseries that will feature the empowering work of the Global Sisterhood. This series will tackle critical global issues such as domestic violence, human trafficking, homelessness, and the lack of education, clean water, and food sources. Through these stories of strength, resilience, and transformation, Dr. Shellie aims to shine a light on the incredible work being done to change lives.
